THE CYRO OF ANTARCTICA

The Cryo of Antarctica is an editorial book design project that used a Wikipedia entry on Antarctica and turned it into a structured print publication. The main inspiration for the design theme was the swiss design approach, the project organizes scientific and geographic information through clean grids, restrained typography, and a minimalist visual system.

The Cryo of Antarctica is a print editorial design project created from a Wikipedia entry on Antarctica. The project explores how dense informational content can be translated into a clear, structured, and visually engaging book system. Rather than relying on decorative icy visuals, the design takes inspiration from Swiss graphic design where it goes for the clean hierarchy, strong grid systems, balanced spacing, and restrained typographic decisions. This approach allowed the content to feel scientific, organized, and accessible while still carrying the atmosphere of Antarctica as a vast and extreme landscape.
