This project proposes a loading throbber inspired by the Spotify logomark and its relationship to sound, rhythm, and playback. Instead of using a generic loading spinner, I explored how a brand’s visual language could become a functional motion element within an interface.
The animation reinterprets the Spotify mark through a set of pulsing bars, referencing audio levels, streaming, and the visual behavior of music playback. The motion is designed to feel subtle but alive, creating a loading state that still feels connected to the platform’s identity.
As a proposal, the project looks at how microinteractions can extend a brand beyond its static logo. The throbber becomes both a utility and a branded moment, turning a passive waiting state into something rhythmic, recognizable, and specific to Spotify.
